In 1985 we set up an operation dedicated to the development, manufacturing and marketing of a new purlin and side rail system. The advanced UltraZED profile was developed in association with Strathclyde University and set new standards of performance which remain unrivalled today. In 1995 the ‘Z’ range was augmented with a complimentary stiffened ‘C’ section profile designated UltraBEAM. In-house development and testing of the UltraBEAM profile was independently supported by the Steel Construction Institute of which the Hadley Group is a member.
