Pins on the changing fixture are inserted into the corresponding holes of the clamping segments. Activating the changing fixture will squeeze the clamping elements enough to allow for easy insertion or removal of the clamping head.
And by the way: Changing fixtures can be used for any clamping diameter for the relevant clamping head size.
