If a machining task requires high speed, high torque and high rotational speeds, the fork head is the best solution. The milling head, for universal applications, is directly driven by torque motors and hydraulically clamped. An incremental measuring system positioned directly on the appropriate rotational axis ensures highly precise positioning of both axes and the greatest possible accuracy.
Thanks to the rigid design and high performance, the fork head can be used in a very wide range of applications for example workpieces made of plastics, composites, aluminium and steel. Further the fork head can also be used for machining of titanium.
