Multi-scale weight controller The HI 3030 is a flexible weight controller that can monitor and control up to four scales simultaneously. It can act as a front end to a PLC/PAC, PC or DCS system or operate as a stand-alone instrument for simple control or weight monitoring. Common applications for the HI 3030 include leveling, batching, filling, dispensing, and check weighing. You can easily configure or monitor the HI 3030 operations using the front panel, a web browser or network interface. Networking As a bridge to a PLC/PAC, up to four scales can share one network connection, whether it’s DeviceNet, ControlNet, Ethernet/IP, or Profibus. You can also link additional HI 3030s with their multiple scales and share the same network connection.
