Construction features:
Aluminum housings have proved to be very good for metal protection of electrical, electronic or pneumatic components. All air gaps and creep distances for enclosures correspond to VDE standards 0110, group C.
Modifications upon request: häwa offers services for all operations, modifying standard housings e.g. drilling, milling, punching, threading and imprinting
Threaded cable glands: see catalog H30-0/10 page 81-84.
Terminals: All housings can be completely equipped with strip terminals or series terminals (terminal list on page 99-100 for other types)
Surface finish: Baked synthetic resin painting, light grey, similar to RAL 7001, special paintings are available upon request
Material: Cast or chilled cast aluminum (technical data, see page 57)
Sealing: Petrol and oil resistant Neoprene sponge rubber thread, inserted in the cover, corresponds to protection class IP 659 to DIN EN 60529, Nema 4
Temperature range: With standard rubber sealing resistant from -40° to +80°C
Ground connection: 2 or 4 copper grounding screws M4 or M6 per housing
