The conical screw dryer is a vacuum contact dryer which, due to its closed design with indirect heating of the product, is extremely well suited for drying hazardous and toxic products containing solvents or water to a very low final moisture content. Due to its unique, absolutely gentle mixing behavior, even mechanically sensitive products are not destroyed, the product quality after the drying process is reproducible and as good as the initial product, and the required drive power is low. The high fine vacuum that can be achieved guarantees low drying temperatures (an indispensable advantage when drying temperature-sensitive products), good heat transfer and short drying times, as well as low energy consumption at the same time. The short drying times and the high level of the completely closed system make the conical dryer the best choice when environmental and/or product requirements are high. A direct-fit filter safely retains dust particles in the process chamber. Complete emptying and easy discharge ensure that you can process your valuable products without loss. Not only solids but also moisture / solvents can be completely recovered in the vacuum unit integrated in the closed containment.
