In connection with the development of products and newly developed products as well as for constant production quality monitoring, tests using pilot machinery are indispensable. Every customer, every application and every product comes with slightly differing requirements regarding these pilot drying units. The implementation of all these requirements is our task and at the end of such planning there is usually a tailor-made machine based on the available standards which is specially designed and manufactured to meet the technical requirements of the customer.
Many years of experience in the manufacture of pilot machines qualifies us also for detailed consulting regarding the selection or preselection of corresponding production machines.
Applications and processes
The possible applications are highly varied, be they in the pharmaceutical field, in the field of fine chemistry compounds, in the composition of new food products or in the area of nuclear technology. In these flexibly designed, usually mobile but even so plug and play multipurpose systems, widely different processes can be simulated and run with gentle handling of the product and low energy consumption: mixing, drying, kneading, moistening, degassing, pelletizing etc., under vacuum or pressure, with or without heating. Through suitable scale-up approaches, drying processes can be reliably transferred from very small to very large volumes. The systematic mixing process at the conical mixer translates also well from pilot scale to subsequent production batches.
