>> It is more than 125 years since Captain Helly Juell Hansen first started producing waterproof clothing for seamen. As early as in 1878 the company won its first award for waterproof garments at the Paris Expo. Nothing like it had ever been seen before. The award was the first of many. Since then Helly Hansen has been a pioneer in the development of waterproof clothes for work and leisure activities.
Our experience and competence allow us to produce waterproof clothes with high functionality and quality in every detail. 100% Waterproof
The collection consists of 100% waterproof PVC and PU coated clothes, providing superior protection and durability. PVC-coated garments have an extremely hard-wearing coating and are resistant to water as well as most chemicals, acids and oils. PU-coated clothes are lighter, softer and more resistant to the cold.
Our comprehensive collection includes waterproof garments made from different base textiles, designed for different needs.Woven cotton is more comfortable against the skin and reduces condensation. Knitted synthetic textiles offer lower weight and superior tear strength.
