If bellows are subjected to particularly hard wear, high-pressure conditions or high temperatures up to 200°C, rubber fabric bellows can be used. Typical fields of application are piston rods with resulting high ambient temperatures, or universal shafts.
Rubber fabric bellows consist of a dual-component structure, where the supporting fabric is coated with a special plastic. The use of high-quality aluminum moulds designed and built by experienced employees will meet your special requests entirely.
In contrast to the rubber disk bellows, the fabric bellows have a structural reinforcement that will withstand the acting mechanical forces. The external protective effect from the rubber is completely maintained. Nevertheless, the supporting fabric changes the character of the surface, so that the fabric bellows are not as level as the rubber disk types.
The Hema Group delivers rubber fabric bellows in CR rubber fabric as standard. You can refer to the data matrix in the concluding part of the catalogue for the exact properties and all additionally available materials. All materials can be laminated with Teflon foil. Through this, they receive a super finish and high chemical resistance. There are also fabric bellows made of leather and carbon fiber/Aramid, which are included among the special types. We manufacture rubber fabric bellows in the standard sizes with inside diameters of 30 to 2,900 mm and an ouside diameter of 50 to 3,000 mm. There are no tool costs for the customary circular shapes. As an alternative to the circular shape, which is most frequently ordered, square, rectangular or oval profiles can also be produced on request.
