If you have a requirement to label both sides of a product cost effectively, but with a high degree of accuracy, and in
relatively small batches, then you will be pleased to know that it's now possible - with this semi-automatic machine
from HERMA. The product is simply placed in a jig and then pushed manually between two labellers.
The big advantage: At the moment at which the label is applied, the product is accurately held in position. The result
is that both labels are very accurately placed on to the product. When the jig is returned to its home position the
product is automatically released from the jig. The range of shapes that the system can handle is endless and
ranges from flat objects such as cartons to more complicated oval bottles. Because of the machine's great flexibility
down-time is kept to an absolute minimum even during a product change-over. As an optional extra, a printer can be
integrated into one or both applicators.
