SHAKERS AND GRADERS H.G. Molenaar has become a South African leader in the design and manufacture of shakers and graders. Premium quality shakers of sanitary design that are highly efficient in cup-up, cup-down and removal applications have been constructed for use by processors in the fruit canning industry. Half fruit graders are widely used in the canning industry all over the world. Clients in South Africa, United States and Greece use these shakers to turn the halved fruit, such as pears, peaches and apricots, in a cup-up or cup-down position for inspection. The in feed deck of the shaker can be provided with a screen to remove the pits. Unpeeled and peeled fruit have different shaker specifications. Graders are also widely used in the canning industry. Clients in South Africa, the United States and Greece use these graders to size halved apricots and peaches for various product ranges. Production capacities range from 750kg per hour to 30 tons per hour.
