The Turnstile Wiegand Reader mounts either horizontally or vertically, making it ideal for high traffic applications. It is molded of rugged, high impact aluminum alloy to resist vandals and epoxy potted to seal out moisture.

Mounting:
The single piece Turnstile reader is usually bottom-mounted on a horizontal surface, it can also be mounted on a wall with the slot aligned vertically.
Visual indication:
When a Wiegand card is swiped through the Turnstile reader, the red LED flashes to green to indicate a proper read. Rejected cards are indicated with an amber color.
Indoor / outdoor design:
The Turnstile reader is sealed in a rugged, potted, weatherized polymeric enclosure to withstand harsh environments and provide a high degree of vandal resistance.
Warranty:
Turnstile readers are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for life from date of shipment.
