Pulse voltage generator
850 - 1550nm, <3 ps RMS jitter | T250
Highland Technology, Inc.
T250 FAST IMPULSE GENERATOR
FEATURES
- Generates 65 volt, 350 picosecond positive pulses
- Compact, rugged extruded package allows the pulse generator to be located wherever most convenient, including embedded applications
- Accepts trigger inputs from the Highland electrical signal generators or compatible sources
- Optionally equipped units can also accept optical triggers from Highand electrical to optical converters or compatible sources
- Adjustable logic-level inputs are compatible with TTL, LVTTL, ECL, NIM and most other common logic levels
- Available in 62/125 meter, 850 nanometer, 1310 nanometer, and 1550 nanometer modes
- On-board O/E converter provides fast analog electrical output for monitoring fiberoptic link quality
- Timing jitter typically below 3 picoseconds RMS
The T250 accepts electrical or optical (option) triggers and generates a fast temperature-compensated 65 volt positive impulse.
Optionally equipped optical trigger version T250-1 uses commonly available 62/125 meter, 850 nanometer, ST-connectorized multimode fiber with user-adjustable optical threshold level. The T250-3 and T250-5 versions are suited for use with singlemode or multimode fiber at 1310 and 1550 nanometers. FC-connectorized versions are available as well.
