Heating sleeves to heat segments of 200 litre barrels per DIN. both the inner and the outer sheath of the barrel heating sleeve are made of aluminium sheet, which ensures maximum protection of the electrical components against mechanical damage. A hinge with campling closure that divides the heating surface into two semi shells permits convenient assembly, without the heating element needing to be bent. The barrel can be heated complete by using 3 sleeves.
The integrated thermal insulation increases efficiency and reduces
the temperature of the touchable surfaces. In the attached alu-
minium housing, the heating surface temperature can be set in
a range from 30 to 1 10°C via a mechanical thermostat. In addi-
tion to the temperature controller, a 1 20°C thermal switch and a
140°C thermal fuse is built into each semi-shell to protect against
overheating.
With the HFT socket distributor it is also possible to precisely regulate
the temperature of the barrel contents via a temperature controller
and an immersed PT 1 00 sensor.
