netHMI is not just a "me-to" product in the highly competitive terminal market. Contrary to other HMIs, it focuses on communication and can show, forward and control the data "on the side". As a slave on the network, it visualizes the EA data or enables its input and change via the "Touch" function of the display. If configured as a master, the integrated soft PLC controls all devices that are connected to the network and enables access to the entire data storage to the visualization. A selection of PLC drivers for transparent data access to Siemens, Rockwell and CoDeSys controls are available for the classic HMI deployment.
For visualization purposes, our proprietary easy-to-use and intuitive QVIS is used. The choice of CoDeSys V3, ProConOS eCLR or the STEP7®-compatible solution from IBHsoftec with PROFIBUS-DP are available as soft PLC.
In addition for displaying and controlling network data, netHMI attains real added value in its customized system solutions. This includes the connection of peripheral devices via proprietary protocols, preprocessing and conversion of the data to network standards.
Typical examples are reading, scaling and displaying of sensor data, e.g. from barcode reader or RFID receiver, forwarding via Real-Time-Ethernet and speedy control of local EAs. For this purpose an RS232/485-Interface, Ethernet and a further fieldbus are available as additional interfaces. Other interfaces can be integrated with minimal effort.
