Polyester is a transparent, flexible, thin material, ideally suited for the manufacture of etch foil heater mats in the lower temperature ranges. With its low thermal mass, superb electrical insulating properties and excellent resistance to most chemicals, it allows fast and efficient thermal transfer.
Where fast response and chemical resistance is required polyester heaters are the ideal solution.
Applications
Available in a limitless range of shapes and electrical specification, polyester heaters provide heating solutions in multiple applications and can be supplied with surface mounted temperature sensors such as thermocouples, RTD's and thermistors.
Construction
Computer designed chemically etched foil tracks are laminated between 2 thin layers of polyester to give precise even heating. Suitable for both low and medium volume production etch foil polyester heaters can be designed to any shape. Multiple circuits and areas having different power density can also be designed to suit specific requirements.
