HOMMEL-ETAMIC IPS100
Bore inspection sensor system
A 360° circular optics is advanced into the bore and generates an image of its inside surface. Circumferential lines in the bore are represented as rings in the image.
The image is continuously scanned by a high resolution CMOS imager. Simultaneous forward advancing of the inspection sensor and circular scanning allows for the generation of an undistorted image of the inner surface of the bore.
Thanks to the high scanning rate, the IPS-10 can be advanced rapidly, which allows for short inspection cycle times.
