The SS361CT and SS461C High Sensitivity Bipolar Latching, Hall-Effect Digital Sensor ICs are small and versatile, hence they are easily operated from a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. Their design is such that they can respond to both north and south poles. The integration of highly sensitive bipolar sensor ICs eliminates the need for expensive magnets. Noted for their reverse polarity protection and stable output of -40 °C to 125 °C temperature range. The device can operate on any dc supply voltage from 4 Vdc to 24 Vdc. Depending on user demand, the Hall-effect devices come in two package styles (1) SS361CT with subminiature SOT-23 surface mount package (tape and reel packaging, 3,000 units per reel) and (2) SS461C with leaded, flat TO-92 style package (bulk packaging, 1,000 units per bag).
