Laboratory digester Vulcan

The Vulcan is an automated working station developed by Horiba Scientific. It is supplied with contamination free environment for tracing level sample preparation. The unit is supplied with expanded laboratory throughput, multi-step warming of hot blocks, cooling digestion vials between reagent additions, and documentation of sample planning processes. The system is also built to handle 2 digestion formulas at the same time, to transfer and dilute samples to auto-sampler racks, to save prime laboratory space with smart inbuilt fume hood, and to overcome inconsistencies and uncertainties introduced by repetitive and tedious process. In addition, the framework features substantial cost savings in sample analysis expenditure, effective use of skilled manpower through unattended operations, provides safe and healthy work environment, and processing of 84 samples in 50 ml vials.
