Description

The Geno Grinder 2010 is a high-throughput plant and tissue homogenizer. It has an adjustable clamp that can accommodate many formats that ranges from like deep-well titer plates to centrifuge tubes, These are designed for rapid cell disruption, lysis and tissue homogenization. It can preserve typical temperature sensitive samples like plant and animal tissue, cell cultures, seeds, yeast, fruits and bacteria. This product is CE approved. The Geno Grinder has an excellent feature of automated mechanical disruption. It is perfect for high-throughput applications that involves sample preparations for DNA, RNA and extractions of protein, pesticide residue analysis etc. It takes less than 2 minutes for pressing cycle. It is equipped with a digital timer, lockdown lid and safety interlock to protect the operator. It is designed for vigorous up-and-down shaking of deep well titer plates. It performs cryogenic grinding enabled by the Kryo-Tech Accessories. The Standard Clamp Assembly can hold up to two deep-well titer plates, vial sets or cryo-blocks. The clamp movement is 500-1750 strokes/minutes strong. The grinding media impacts the sample each and every time.
