The Wire+Cable Division of HUBER SUHNER offers a wide range of cables for different applications and market segments. The development and production of compounds as well as the design and manufacture of wires and cables are performed in-house. Due to the large vertical range of manufacture and the high automation level combined with our vast know-how, we are able to fulfil the customer's specific requirements and needs. We also manufacture customized assemblies and complete ready-to-install cable systems.


RADOX® 125/155

RADOX® 125 is a halogen free, crosslinked compound, based on polyolefin copolymers. It has been especially developed for meeting high safety standards under adverse conditions and has good dielectric characteristics. This makes it ideally suitable as an insulation material.
Electron beam crosslinking ensures consistently good properties such as resistance to high temperature, mechanical forces, impact, abrasion and compression. Further RADOX® 125 is insensitive to environmental factors. It is used in electric machines (class B), switchboards and distribution boxes in apparatus and plant engineering.

RADOX® 155 is an electron beam crosslinked compound based on polyolefin copolymers for class F applications, used for example in the coil winding industry.


UL/CSA Approvals
RADOX® connecting leads are also available with following approvals: UL3266/CSA AWM I A/B, UL3271/CSA AWM I A/B and UL3289/ CSA CL1503.
