Belt thickener for sludge treatment
HUBER Drainbelt DB consists of a trough-like structure that guarantees maximum conditioning and aligned dispension of the sludge across the entire filter belt.
The filter belt is straightened using a drive and tensioning roller while there is a feed chute located at the top of the roller which is easily fed on onto the filter belt and later transported to the sludge discharge point. The flocculation drains can be used to segregate the sludge flocks by placing them on the revolving filter cloth. Finally, the sludge is removed from the belt with the help of a plastic doctor blade attached to the drive roller.
