The self-draining safety shower and eye/face wash are each housed in their own designated area within a stainless steel protective frame. For casualties negotiating their way to the shower, the hand rails provide extra support if necessary. The self-draining feature allows standing water to drain from the standpipe to avoid it heating up and potentially scalding a user, an essential benefit for hot climates.
