With the 5 axes compact milling centre for the high speed machining of big dimensioned workpieces, Huron is at the forefront of technology and standing by its innovating tradition.
Huron is making a new step by integrating linear motor in the structure of the KXG machines range.
The performing KX milling centres with rapid feedrates coupled with powerfull spindle which allow machining from roughing to finishing, are equipped with a new asset : the linear motor. Very simple, without any pieces in movement, it has no wear and no play. The dynamic of the machine allows high acceleration and high feedrates.
This technology increase the capacities of the Huron's milling centres. The first one to be equipped with linear motors is the new HSM 5 axes milling centre Huron KXG
The HURON KXG milling centre allows the machining with 5 axes and on 5 faces, of high dimensioned complex workpieces and is particularly suitable for moulds, dies, models and precision workpieces in areas such as automotive, aeronautic and industrial mechanic.
