Description
Motralec S3SCR has been designed for pumping highly viscous liquids. It uses a positive displacement screw and can handle liquids like latex, crude oils, refinery wastes and molasses. During pumping of lighter materials with viscosities to 25,000 CST the impeller increases pump capacity by acting as a centrifugal type. It is particularly useful for cargo pumping and oil skimmers.
S3SCR is compact which allows it to be used in restricted areas. It features oil-lubricated seals, which can be run dry. The pump can also serve inline as a booster pump. At places with hazardous or impractical electric power, the safe hydraulic drive is useful. S3SCR is compatible with Motralec's HT10 to HT25 power units and other hydraulic power sources, which can handle flows of 6 - 11 GPM. To provide resistance to abrasion, the pump is available with an optional ceramic coated case.
