Driven by innovation and engineered for warehouse productivity, the Hyster R1.4–R2.5 reach truck with moving mast delivers high lift capability, excellent visibility and configurable chassis options to suit intensive indoor applications.

Robust and durable
The fully welded base frame is available with two fork widths and four fork lengths to match demanding applications. Seven models cover capacities from 1.4 to 2.5 tonnes with four chassis lengths and multiple configuration options. The three-piece design reduces replacement costs and increases flexibility. Precision-designed masts in Standard and Heavy Duty versions are offered in lift heights from 4,650 mm to 12,750 mm, maintaining stability and residual capacity at height.

Built for comfort
The ergonomically designed operator compartment includes next-generation controllers and motors, a premium touch-screen display, joystick and an adjustable steering column to improve driver comfort and reduce operator fatigue.

Increased travel speed
Higher travel speeds (up to 14 km/h) and lift speeds up to 0.8 m/s (to 12.5 m) reduce cycle times. Choice of 180° or 360° steering enables smooth direction changes in narrow aisles. VCM (Vehicle Control Manager) integrates traction, steering, hydraulics and electronics for consistent, reliable control and improved diagnostics.

High visibility mast
Unique channel design (patent pending) reduces total channel width to improve through-the-mast visibility while preserving residual capacity at greater heights. A wide selection of mast heights and configurations lets the truck be tailored to application requirements.

Energy-efficient
Full AC drive, traction and hydraulic systems enable seamless direction changes and higher cycle speeds. ECO-eLo and HiP modes can reduce energy consumption by up to 20% without impacting productivity. The auto-regenerative, self-adjusting brake system is wear-free and eliminates brake pad maintenance.
