Two independently operating production units serving a common press station. Output at a 5-second press-cycle results in more than 500 pads per hour. Automatic short-cycle press, for the production of small and mediumsized batches. Each production unit has a material feeding station for the supply and distribution of friction compound and Underlayer as well as to supply back plates. The production units are installed on a swivel arm which moves them from the charging station into the pressing station and back again. The press cycle proceeds in the pressing station according to parameters that can be exactly reproduced and are conveniently programmable.
