IBERTEST has developed the TIB...W series of electromechanical machines for torsion tests, fitted with computer-driven command, control and programming, by means of a PC with WINTEST® TOR, a software package for MS Windows™ series, made on-purpose for the automation and report issue of the whole test, including the following parameters:
Date / test reference / specimen reference.
Specimen diameter and length.
Type of test (whether twisting in only one way or both alternatively). Number of turns in each sense.
Rotation or Torque application speed in each sense (rpm or Nm/s)
Maximum test torque (Nm).
Shear strength in MPa or p.s.i.
