In an attempt to continuously satisfy the market needs, IDE presents its Fireproof Register Covers in two versions, METAL and FINE WOOD. These register covers are especially designed to be installed in landings of houses to act as protectors for chutes that house the electrical wiring and as a fire barrier in the event of fire, actively preventing flame propagation. The metal covers are made of cold-rolled steel plate and they have an insulating panel comprised of a silica sand compound that prevents flame propagation.
The wooden covers are made of fine wood that is especially treated to prevent flame propagation, too. They are available in three different colours: beech, cedar and oak in order to adapt to the tastes and aesthetics of any type of installation. They are available, in both cases, in three different sizes: 450x500 m, 500x700 mm and 300x1350 mm, thus adapting to the requirements of the applicable regulation. They are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the REBT: 2002 (Low voltage electro-technical regulation) and the NBE-CPI-96 (Basic building code) and are certified in accredited laboratories according to UNE and EN standards. The RF60, RF30, EI260 and EI290 qualifications have been obtained (depending on versions).
