Idem has launched the Kobra KP Range of Universal Tongue Interlock switches to cope with the rigorous demands of the food, beverage and pharmaceutical environments.

The Kobra KP Tongue Interlock Switch has an established footprint suitable for most general applications. High specification materials means it is suitable for use in rigorous areas were high humidity or washdown is required e.g.Food Processing and Petro-Chemical Industries.

ATEX Explosion Proof versions are available.

The Rotatable Head means it can easily be fitted to the leading edge of Hinged, Sliding or Lift off Guard Doors, and the unique double seal gaskets ensure reliability sealing against moisture ingress. All external and intern al screw fittings are Stainless Steel. 3 or 4 pole contact blocks are available and can be upgraded or replaced without removing the switch from the application.

4 different actuators are available including Flexible versions to help with alignment.
