The IER 918 is a new range of Common Use Self-service kiosks designed to meet the latest trends in passenger travel such as e-ticketing, 2D barcoded boarding passes, the ability to read e-passports and to check-in passengers with or without bags.

The IER 918 is part of the IER range of Common Use Self Service Solutions available with CUSS-compliant check-in applications, middleware and web based monitoring software.

The IER 918 integrates high-performance components:

- 17 in Touchscreen
- 300 dpi, wide format boarding pass printer
- Manual 3 track magnetic and smart card reader
- Industrial PC board
- Miniature, high performance hard drive, up to 2GB RAM
Its compact design and sleek profile allow installations in space-restricted check-in areas. Even the full page passport reader is fully integrated into the kiosk. A swing door (upper module) and sliding drawer provide full access to the internal components for simple, reliable service and maintenance.

The IER 918 range of kiosks offers flexible installation capabilities: Counter-top, integrated within a counter, standalone pedestal design (easily movable pedestal with special trolley).
