The IER 560 is an innovative, multi-functional, non-magnetic direct thermal printer designed for high volume ticket printing applications for the Airline and Rail Industries. The IER 560 is a compact, flexible 4 channel printer that can print Boarding passes (or ATB1 tickets), Bag Tags, ISO tickets or receipts simultaneously. The IER 560 prints high quality 1D and 2D barcodes and uses proven, industrialized components for a highly robust and reliable design.

The IER 560 offers an optional RFID encoding module, internal to the machine, for contactless RF bag tags or ISO tickets. Agents or passenger can read RFID tickets directly from the exterior of the machine.

The IER 560 also includes an optional front feed barcode scanner for the reading and re-validating of barcoded tickets.

The 4 input channels of the IER 560 can be configured as:
- 2 Boarding Pass/ATB1 + 2 Bag Tags/ISO tickets or
- 3 Boarding Pass/ATB1 +1 Bag Tag/ISO tickets or
- 4 Bag Tags/ISO tickets
