Pulse evaluation system

The units are reliable and easy to handle. Independent from the plc they indicate faulty operation and plant states and help to cut down on downtime and production loss.Basis for the evaluation is the conversion of mechanical movement into digital electrical signals (pulses). This is preferably done by means of non-contact sensors or encoders.
The frequency of a pulse sequence (the time distance between two consecutive positive pulse edges) is proportional to the mechanical movement so that this movement can be measured by a suitable control monitor with regard to a set behaviour. Furthermore the pulse trains can be converted into analog signals by means of frequency-to-current converters, e.g. for triggering measuring devices.
