An additional automatic bar feed mechanism enables efficient cutting-off in medium-sized batches.
Bar-feed and cut-off length. An encapsulated linear scale and servo drive with high resolution resolver guarantees a high repeatability. Any cut-off length is freely programmable. The control automatically calculates the number of cuts and counts the number of parts required.
Wheel infeed. The IB®3 has an automatic grinding wheel infeed with a servo-drive motor. After programming the work-piece diameter, the control calculates all positions of the wheel. The infeed speed is software controlled.
Safe clamping. Two automatic and independent clamping fingers hold the work-piece in a vee-block.
