The new RDKP machines are innovative products for compressed air applications. Especially the 3rd Generation of RDKP thermoformers allows significant increases in cycle speed for PP processing. Pre-heating and off-station heating technology (contact heating combined with ceramic heater elements for pre-heating the material and heating it up to forming temperature) used by ILLIG has always been providing ideal conditions for PP processing which can be applied especially for menu trays in an optimal way.

The machine working with compressed air is designed for high quantities and allows outputs of up to 55 production cycles/min. Thanks to the servo drive technology used movements of forming table and upper table are synchronized very precisely. This results in an optimum material distribution in the product's side wall. Consequently, thinner basic material can be used and will result in the same stability of the finished part. This means improved part quality, such as higher rigidity and absolutely exact and plane sealing rims throughout the whole sealing area. RDKP 72 is equipped with a max. forming area of 671 x 535 mm.
