Beacon light

The rules of beaconing of the obstacles to the aerial navigation are defined by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) (Appendix 14 Volume 1, 3rd edition July 1999).
The obstacles defined by the ICAO include/understand the following structures:
- smokestacks
- pylons (Telecom, TV, Radiocom...)
- lines High voltage (electric distribution)
- bridges
- buildings great height
- powerplants
- cranes

The ICAO recommends the average use of fires intensity for the structures exceeding 45 m height. For structures exceeding the 150 m height, the average use of fires intensity will have to be supplemented by a marking (red/white).
Fires average intensity BA200 and BA202 only fulfill the requirements of the ICAO for marked out structures of night (BA200 with an luminous intensity higher than 2.000 Cd) and for the marked out structures day and night (BA202 with an luminous intensity higher than 20.000 Cd of day and 2.000 Cd of night).
