Surge arrester type 1 for low voltage power lines Indelec

These cabinets have been specially designed to facilitate the use of twin protection overvoltage arresters (primary and secondary).

They are made up of :
- a primary protection stage using DGA 70 kA overvoltage arresters
- a secondary protection stage using DGX 10 kA overvoltage arresters
- an inductive co-ordination resistor designed to uncouple the two protection stages
- an overvoltage arrester protection breaker

The pre-wired sub-assembly is set in a lockable metal cabinet. An LED display on the cabinet door shows the voltage and operational status of each overvoltage arrester.
