SilikonschaltmatteSilicone keyboards are used in many applications, for example in industry, communication systems or consumer products. In comparison to other keyboard technologies the silicone keyboards do have an excellent price-performance-ratio, are robust and dependable. Unlimited designs are possible. Shape and color of the keytops designed at your wishes. Silicone keyboards are made of high flexible and toxin free silicon caoutchouc. Pressure and appropriate temperature will produce the keyboard. A special tooling is required for every different design. On the backside usually a conductive carbon pill is located under every key. The contact element is normally meander shaped tails on PCB or foil.
