The HCF Heated Corner Forming Machine forms permanent corners in rubber extrusion to prevent the bubble collapsing when fitted to the car. The rotary machine design and hot air heating process significantly increase output and reduce labour and tooling costs compared to traditional tooling. Various degrees of automation, heating and cooling can be provided.

Machine Benefits:

- Increases output and reduces manual requirements compared to existing forming methods by using a rotary machine design and hot air heating.

- Reduces tooling costs by using simple, robust clamp tooling and fixtures with external and internal heating options.

Cooling process for heated rubber extrustion- Injection of air into the shaped corner stabilises the extrusion during the forming process and removes the requirement for expensive mould tooling.

- Able to handle taped extrusion and fabric covered extrusion as heating and cooling is localised and controlled.

- Increase of outputs by using robotic unloading and automatic quality check systems (optional).
