The corner radius is used to simplify mounting of self-locking sealing profiles to 90° inside corners. It creates a smooth, curved radius and enables an easier installation of the profile.
Insert the corner radius with the sealing profile after the frame is painted. The corner radius is fixed to the flange of the body profile by the self-locking profile. For heavy-duty applications you may firmly fix the corner radius to the frame via the integrated screw connector.
This corner radius eliminates the need for grinding or welding the inside junction plates of the metal frame. The corner radius is approved for sealing protection IP54.
