For most people these two names or acronyms mean absolutely nothing. But in the field of X-ray diffraction the interest in Small Angle and Wide Angle X-ray Scattering is becoming of major importance.
In that it enables the researcher to measure parameters relating to characteristics of textured samples with small crystallites with dimensions of perhaps tens of nanometres.
