Embedded power is a single package solution for space constrained intelligent applications.
It incorporates an 8-bit microcontroller from our XC800 family which is compatible with the standard 8051 core including On-Chip Debug Support (OCDS), non-volatile memory and System-Basis Chip (SBC). The SBC is equipped with a LIN 2.1, 2.0, 1.3/SAEJ2602 compliant LIN transceiver, a Low-Dropout voltage regulator (LDO), two low-side switches (relay driver) and a supply for sensors, e.g. Hall sensor (TLE 4966). In addition, a high-side driver is also available for driving LEDs or for providing a cyclic wake up function via five integrated high voltage wake up inputs for quiescent current sensitive applications.
This integrated circuit is realized as a Multi-Chip-Module (MCM) in a DSO-28, and is designed to withstand the severe conditions of automotive applications.
