The 16-bit PIC serial bootloader is a firmware located in the non-volatile memory of a microcontroller unit (MCU or DSC) that allows in-circuit reprogramming of the device using its standard serial communication ports.
The 16-bit PIC serial bootloader works for all 16-bit MCU/DSC Microchip devices (PIC24F, PIC24H, dsPIC30F and dsPIC33F), and has been widely tested with the communications module iCM4011.
The package includes the firmware programming for the desired 16-bit MCU or DSC and a proprietary graphical user interface (GUI) based on Windows OS.
