1 - 16 tools Fool-proof bit selection during tightening A problem area in error-free assembly involves those jobs where varying bit sizes are used together with the same nutrunner, creating the danger of mistaken bit selection. As a result tightening error can occur. Up to now, the only possibility to stop this kind of error is either mechanical aids or varying slot mouldings. With the "xPonder" we managed to achieve a much more elegant solution. Which bit is in which slot is no longer of interest, because the tightening control no longer communicates with the slot, but with the bit itself. The operator is shown by the LED which of the corresponding bits is to be released. If the operator releases the wrong bit from the slot, the nutrunner automatically shuts down. Please note that tool holders are not included and need to be ordered separately.
