The line of high-speed portal-type machining centres (3 or 5 simultaneous axes) named « CERUTI » comes from the long experience of INNSE BERARDI in the production of portal-type machines.
CERUTI gantries are used, with the A and C axis head, by aeronautic space companies and die manufacturers.

Main features of the 3-axis version:
X from 2500 to 20000; Y from 1800 to 4300; Z from 700 to 1500

The head, is a very innovative technical realisation as torque motors are used on A and B axes. This solution allows eliminating mechanical kinematics that creates heath troubles, and consequently deformation of the head.

The head builds two motors in the ram for C-axis in order to get a torque of 8000 Nm.
Two motors for A-axis, one for each side of the head, grant the indispensable thermo-symmetry to get the highest machining accuracy. Power up to 60 kW.

One of the main peculiarities of the machine is the crossrail central head whose structure is thermosymmetric regarding to machining strength in the space.

High stiffness specifically studied for high speed machining, different tool changers from 30 to 200 tools, automatic loading of index and continuous attachments, machining possibility in alternate
positions, safety protections to CE standards.
