TRANSLATING TRANSVERSAL CARRIAGE “X”


It is constituted by an aerial metallic structure able to support the Robot thus allowing its controlled translation in the transversal direction.

The translating carriages are sliding on couples of trapeze and rectangular guides which guarantee insensibility to dirt and require a negligible maintenance.

The control of the movement (axis 7) is operated by the robot.

During the programming phase the position of the carriage is decided by the operator by a console equipped with two buttons (+X, -X) by which it is possible to move the carriage in all the possible ways (position and speed).

For example a module can be programmed with the carriage in a pre-fixed position or with the carriage in continual movement between two points at a pre-selected speed.
