The 600 kN Hydraulic Testing System with Single Side-Acting Hydraulic Grips is completly customizable, the grips are ideal for tensile testing of stranded wire or cable and uniquely feature longer jaw faces to better accommodate gripping. These longer jaw faces are extremely important for tensile testing, as strands can easily slip from conventional grips, ultimately affecting the integrity of the test and test results.

Cost-effectively designed with multiple testing system configurations including tension, compression, bend, shear and flexure, Instron’s KN Series Universal Hydraulic Testing Systems allow for a flexible single test space. The versatility of design also enables the user to easily add test stroke or increase the test opening and the testing space is easily accessible due to upper actuator design.

For increased operator and equipment safety, Instron’s KN Series ensures that the actuator does not travel past the limits of its design. Superior accuracy is provided by Instron’s load cell system and zeroing capability. The variable pressure power pack provides pressure on demand, reducing heat generation for increased oil life, decreasing maintenance and eliminating the need for water cooling.
