The IDT VMM1300 is the world's first VESA DisplayPort™ (DP) -based multi-monitor controller IC. It is fully compliant to the DisplayPort v1.1a and the VESA Direct Drive Monitor (DDM) standards. The device integrates a DisplayPort receiver and multiple transmitters into a single chip, providing a high bandwidth, superior performance and cost effective solution for multiple PC monitor and display panel products. The patented technology provides complete high-definition multi-monitor capability without the need for a graphics card for each monitor. The IDT VMM1300 enables manufacturers to significantly simplify multi-monitor system design and provide the flexibility to customize the multi-monitor experience for their customers.

The IDT VMM1300 is ideal for a variety of monitor applications including standalone dongle devices and embedded ports inside monitors and panels.
