The ITC-4008A spherical transducer is a unique design consisting of a mosaic assembly of Channelite-5400 lead zirconate titanate plates. Pioneered by ITC, this technique permits fabrication of low frequency, high power, omnidirectional transducers. It is highly efficient over a broadband and can be submerged to depths up to 1000 feet.
