Automated selective soldering is currently one of the most interesting areas in electronic production. It con-tributes substantially to process reliability and raises product quality to a higher level. The high capital investment involved, however, has prevented high-end selective soldering systems from being commonly used in smaller companies.
InterSelect's selective soldering series is now provides new possibilities - especially for manufactures with limited budgets. The Select 250 is an introductory semi-automatic selective soldering system which allows for both single spot and heavy-mass soldering.
With the Select 250 you have the possibility to use two different Flux- Systems; one is the very accurate Micro Drop Fluxer our standard Spray-Fluxer.
The Select 250 you can configure with a quartz-Preheater, also a late update is possible.
The basic machine Select 250 has one selective module; it is completely made out of titan and consequently applicative for lead-free solder. For reducing oxidation on the soldering module the pot is completely covered and flooded with Nitrogen. Through this the maintenance effort is reduced to a minimum.
